This project features an editorial illustration inspired by the New York Times article An Apple Tree Grows in Manhattanby Florence Fabricant. The illustration captures the charm and uniqueness of an apple tree flourishing in the heart of the city, emphasizing the contrast between urban life and nature's quiet persistence. Using vibrant, hand-drawn visuals, the project brings to life the story of the Goldstein family and their unexpected backyard apple harvest.

 

This work showcases my ability to interpret written content and translate it into engaging, narrative-driven visuals that enhance the reader’s connection to the story.
